Suburban rim and tire size?

Looking for advice on rim and tire sizes for 1969 suburban 2wd. Looking to lower 2.5 in front and 3 to 4 inch in back.

Does anyone have pictures of rims and tires on lowered suburban?

Thanks

Re: Suburban rim and tire size?

I went with 15's because I prefer a 50,60, or 70 series tire. What you most want to look at is overall height of your chosen tire because this will affect your lowness and tire clearance. If you wanna tuck real tall tires and still look low, it is going to require a radical makeover of your suspension and wheel well and will probably be impractical. You can go on tirerack.com and get height and width specs on any tire they sell.
My tires are 275-60-15 in the back and some too-tall 75 series tires in the front. I'll probably replace the fronts with 215-70-15's
