Doors or fenders on first?

Do the doors go on first and then the front fenders or vis versa? I think if I put my fender on first, then I can't get to the door hinge bolt... correct?

I'm thinking: put door on first and get set right with the rocker and cab, and then go from that to install and align/shim my fender. Is that correct?

Re: Doors or fenders on first?

if you put on the fenders first - it will be very difficult to get to the bolts...

Also you will want to align the door gaps first and then hang the fenders after that.

Re: Doors or fenders on first?

Start from the rear and work forward on any sheetmetal sawp. That way you can set the back door gaps, then the bottom/top, then you can install the fenders withough adjusting the doors!
