17" or 18" Coys...Anybody?

I really need some new wheels. Would really like to run Coy C-5s, just not 20s. Is anyone running 17 or 18" Coy C-5s? I need to see some pics and wheel and tire specs please. Thanks DOOCE

I don't think I have seen anyone running 17's. There are a few 18 posted on here. Why not 20's?

Re: 17" or 18" Coys...Anybody?

I have 18s on the front of mine now, but this week my 20s should be in, the 18 are just a little to small for the opening in my case but I do have a burb to so that doesnt help...LOL. I also am running a tiny tire because I am bagged and wanted it as low as I could go, so it would look better with a bigger tire. here is a pic of mine just so you can see the 18s on the front.

and here is a 20 on the same truck...

Re: 17" or 18" Coys...Anybody?

I'm just not a fan of huge wheels. I will admit that the 20" C-5's on these trucks look good, just not what I want. I also want to run a tire with some sidewall.

Re: 17" or 18" Coys...Anybody?

I'm running 18x7's with 245/45 up front and 18x9.5's with 275/40 out back. I'm saving up for 20" tt2's.

Blue Gas- Whats the backspacing on those? It looks good, just about what I want, probably some more tire though.

I thought about Coys, but wound up with 17" Billet Specialties "Qualifiers" instead. They maintain a better shine than the Coys. I found mine at a decent price at my local Sport Truck guy, he beat the computer outlets.

The 18x7's are 4.25", and I believe the 18x9.5's are 5".

You must have had to roll your front fender lips to get a 4 in backspacing > If you didnt , Ive got 2 17x9.5 tt2's that Ive been thinking about trying on the front . They have 5.5 backspacing which should stick out the same as your 8 in wheels with 4 in bs. What do you think ? Oh mine is lowered about the same as yours also.

Why is it that these wheels just look so good over and over and over again? It really makes me wonder about spending the big money on a set of billets.
