Re: So I think I might have found my C-10

Didn't get all that many more on the way home...The wife was tired and I think the 13 month old started to get a little sick of sitting in a car for 13 of the last 20 hours...

Everything went great with one exception that I forgot about. While I was getting gas in Primm (state Line) a tourist decided to back into the HHR SS at the gas station. They have insurance and we will work towards getting the minor door damage fixed.

Lastly the truck al tucked in. I think my son approves....

I have alot going on projects wise in the next couple weeks but hope to start on the build thread shortly. Truck needs some polishing, brakes, wheels, tires and suspension ASAP.

Re: So I think I might have found my C-10

Well the ordering has started.........

Mark at ECE is just too nice/informative and put together a mean deal!!!

So here we go

ECE 4.5/6" Premium drop kit

ECE 6 lug front disc brake conversion

ECE Power Booster

New poly bushings for rear arms. (why the hell not)

He thinks I will have everything except the booster tommorow.

Install will be a couple weeks away atleats.

Re: So I think I might have found my C-10

Well I got everything from ECE the next day as promised. Just waiting on the backordered Power booster and some free time to install everything.

I got the title switched to CA. Kind of a pain nut its all done now. I got the truck weighed asd one of the requirements and she tipped the scale at 3920lbs with 3/4 tank of gas.

I imagine the truck will roll down the road at about 3700lbs w/o gas once the spare and hidden hitch are removed. Thats before the big rims/tires

Where did you get it weighed? I got both of mine weighed on a grain scale here off of Van Buren

Nice color combo....exactly like mine

I got it weighed at Lindas tach and feed off 6th street in Norco.

I had no idea when I went to AAA that I would need a weight cert. I had probably 400lbs of garage stuff/ECE suspension (garage remodel) in the bed that I had to remove before it hit the scale.

They were shaking there head when I was removing everything in fear of Arnold reaming more on my registration fees...lol.

I'm not sure what color it is as its a repaint (non factory yellow) Its actually buffing out pretty nice so far.
