rear main seal replacement,,,,tips?

I am gonna have to replace the rear seal on the 68 250 in my 64..While I'm in there I'm gonna replace the oil pump also.Any tips on makin this go as easy a possible? Also where is a good place to get the torque specs on everything? Thanks ahead of time guys,,,by the way this will been done most likely in my gravel driveway

Just did it in my 292 1966 C-10. Make it easy and pull out the motor...that rear seal is a PIA. Also you dont know it yet but the front seal is probably just as bad as the rear seal...
