Re: body lift question

You're going to have to install 2 universal joints in the steering column shaft.

Re: body lift question

where at exactly on the shaft? and would it be possible if i could buy a body lift kit for a 70's or 80's model chevy so i have nylon or polyurethane lift blocks instead of hockey pucks or square tubing?

Re: body lift question

You'll need one at the steering box and another up by the firewall. I don't know if a later model body lift will work since I haven't used one. There are several other things that will need changed as well such as radiator hoses, throttle linkage, clutch and brake lines, trans shifter, etc.

Re: body lift question

You can buy individual body lift blocks in varying heights on Ebay for about $5 each.
