header ??

my truck is lowered. dont know how low cause it was done when i got it. but can i put long headers on it or do i need shorty's? i have a set of huger headers but dont fit right. hits the frame, starter, motor mount and the block. but they were given to me so im not out anything.

since its lowered, i'd go with chevelle headers...they bolt right on, here's the post with the part numbers:

Depends on how low. Mine is dropped 3 1/2" in the front and 4 1/2" in the rear and I still run headers made for the truck. I have not had any issue with them. Any lower than that, the headers could become an issue.

i used 1985 hooker shortys on my 86

Dougs D-310 full length great ground clearence. 3/8 flanges 1 5/8 tube 3'' collecter.
