Rear Speakers are REAL quiet

As the title says the rear speakers are putting out very little volume. When you turn the fader to rear you can just barely hear any volume. the speakers don't rattle & crack like they are blown out, they just have little volume. The head unit is a Kenwood KDC X592 it has a 1000 watt amp (don't remember the brand & 2 10" subs, don't remember the brand but I think they are JBL. they are under the seat & I don't want to pull it out just to see) the speakers(dash & 6"x9"s) are Infinity's. The subs & dash speaker work fine, just the rears are low volume. I checked to make sure they are connected, they are. Any ideas of where to start looking? Mike

Re: Rear Speakers are REAL quiet

Check the gains adjustment and also the low-pass filter. Try turning the gains up a bit and also set the LPF to about 150hz

Ace. I'm a stereo dunce, I assume these are on the amp correct? Also where would I find the low pass filter?

Re: Rear Speakers are REAL quiet

Sorry, all the adjustments should be on the input side of the amp. Each adjustment should be labeled with a min/max or #
