Late night with Nate Porter!

Spent some time over Nate's tonight fabing new hinges so get ready you hinge frustrated 60-66 owners. Nate Porter has designed a hinge just for us and if you have his cross member these are a must. They mount in the cowl bellow taking the stress off the firewall and it opens like a clam shell so no more cowl contact when opening and the hood is further back when open giving more accessibility to the motor and firewall and has ZERO interference with ANY size tire.

Re: Late night with Nate Porter!

That's cool! So when do we get to see a step by step install? Ever think about adding a gas strut to hold the hood open?

I will be posting up some install pics. I am sure there will be a gas strut option in the near future... For now, a prop rod does the trick!
