Bucket Seats... Do these look correct for a 72?

Here is what I am looking at getting. Do they look right, I dont want to get 73 and up seats. How much should I offer him?

"Bucket seats for '72 Chevy. Fits '69-'72. Chev truck bucket seats with console. Correct mountings. Won't fit Blazer. Very good condition"

looks correct from what I can see.If you look at the lower skirt from side veiw it will be flat from front to back 73 up will run flat for about 4'' and then angle up a total of 11/2'' by the time it gets to the rear.

How much do you guys think they are worth? What would be a good deal for me to buy them for in other words.

Re: Bucket Seats... Do these look correct for a 72?

Last pair you stole for $50 a couple years ago!$50 won't even buy a nice console unless you are just plain lucky?I second $400 to $600 is fair and anything less is a good deal .I got home 30 minutes to late and missed a set on ebay for $202.50 tonight .had been watching them for a couple days and went to get a buddy who was broke down.Make an offer of $200 then he will tell you what he is expecting. don't just offer a high # right off ,if he acts offended tell him straight up I don't mean to offend you but you should set the price you want I am just after the best price I can get.

Re: Bucket Seats... Do these look correct for a 72?

I sold a pair in similar shape but no console on Ebay for $600 few months back. I paid $100 for them and they were out of a 72 Camper.

Too high for me. Last set my friend restored he had about 800 total in it. Foam was good, so he only needed seat covers. Seller prob has what he is asking in them time he got new foam also. If you were going to do that not a bad deal to get it all complete.

Re: Bucket Seats... Do these look correct for a 72?

Not mad at all ,happy for you.I would have put them in the attic with the others.I just collect the sets that I can that are a good deal just because these trucks are my passion and certain parts are as good as money in the bank, bucket seats being one.The internet is making it easier to locate parts for now but it is also going to make the supply dwindle down and in a few years certain parts are going to be really hard to find.
