Summit carb

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-64-7788/

Has anyone used a reman carb from summit? What were the pros/cons? I'm looking to replace the carb on my 307. It is in desperate need of a rebuild, and I don't know if it is worth it. I figured I can get this one with a warranty and save myself a headache. I also have a Q-jet that needs work or a holley that I could have for free. I don't think the holley needs any work, I'm told it ran fine before it sat on the shelf for a couple years. I'm not trying to make big power, just want reliability and no fuel leaks. Thats why I'm leaning towards the summit carb. Thoughts/opinions

Re: Summit carb

Bottom line is that Summit will stand behind it so it is an easy solution. I would not shy away. I don't know if there are wet tested or not but there is a good chance they are.
