Cab Mount Bolts for Body lift
I am lifting my 68 C10 just one inch with one inch body lift blocks. I now need longer cab mount bolts but nobody seems to make them. I need 9/16 x 7" (or a little longer) and 7/16 x 6.5" (or a little longer). Does anyone know who might carry hex head bolts this long? I may end up having to call the body lift kit manufacturers and beg them to sell me some of their bolts since I am sure they must sell very long bolts like this as part of their kits.

Try your local hardware store. I know mine has them.

Re: Cab Mount Bolts for Body lift
But what grade are they? I really want to use Grade 8, if at all possible. Definitely no worse than Grade 5. Also, I prefer made in the USA. Looks like fastenal may have what I need. Thanks to all.

Re: Cab Mount Bolts for Body lift
hmmm oh yeah! it is. I swear that was the only time it went airborn. The deal is i was forced to buy the truck by my dad, and pay him back. Problem was everyone else had lifted trucks and that one was bone stock, and only 48k miles.i hated it. That was 1988. think the pic is 1990. then the body and suspension lifts and torture came... so i guess i have no opinion that matters now.Right? ha ha Anyway one inch would be ok i guess i did 3in. i'm taking the body lift off soon. i have the cab mounts, but not the radiator mounts yet.
