what's the correct spare wheel size?

I'm switching over to kelsey hayes 16.5 x 9.75 steel wheels. Before I powder coat them I thought I'd buy a period correct spare wheel (currently do not have one) and not sure of correct wheel size?? - would like to powder coat all 5 at same time. Thanks in advance for the help?

Also - any recommendations on tires for the kelsey hayes? - thinking an all terrian or mud.

Re: what's the correct spare wheel size?

You know I am curious about this too...

I was bout ready to just get a plain Jane 16" wheel, with a regular narrow highway tread tire to use as a spare.

Since I know that my current 33x12.50 on 16.5's won't fit in the spare tire well.
