Air Tank Installation Pictures

I have a 72 Chevy SWB and looking at location options for my tank. I have a stainless steel fuel tank in the rear. so between the rails in the back is out. I haven't decided to run two tanks or one. This is my first airbag install so any help and pictures will be appreciated

Mike

Re: Air Tank Installation Pictures

Was considering mounting 3 gal tanks one on each side to a plate welded to the cross sills on the bottom side of the bed floor in front of the rear tires. What do the experts think

Re: Air Tank Installation Pictures

these pic's suck but it was all i could get real quick. i am eventually going to make myself a build thread when i get the bags done this weekend.

this first is the compressor in the back passenger side corner, from there the lines go to the passenger side tank, then over to the drivers side tank, and then back to the box in the back. i have installed an accuair control system, so everything is in the black box. i am running hard lines on the compressor/tank side and plastic lines on the bag side for now. i will eventually go to all hard lines.
I have all lines, electrical, and height sensors installed, but i have yet to turn the bag control system on or hook up the rear bags, they are manual fill for now. the system has been holding 120 psi for a few days now. notice the schraders, i went that route in case of a compressor failure and they also double as moiture drains. you cant see it, but on the passenger side tank there is a quick disconnect so i can hook up an air line and run air tools or fill tires. like i said i am rebuilding the front end and installing the front bags in a few days. i just need to put a fuse in the new fuse block after i hook up all four bags and (fingers crossed) it will come to life.
