Seat Covers
I'm going to recover the seats in my Blazer. Who makes a quality seat cover? This is going into a daily driver, so they have to fairly rugged. I know PUI is available through most parts dealers. Any recomendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Seat Covers
David, I have always used PUI, but the next go around, I believe I will use "Truckworld" covers. I have heard they are of better quality. Trevor

Re: Seat Covers
if "correct" isnt a factor check with a local upholstery shop
i've found in the pasr getting it done covers foam work and custom covers with install are sometimes cheaper than the "correct" covers with shipping and with mailorder you still have to do the labor

Re: Seat Covers
I can't find a web site on the real "Truckworld" or if they are sold through dealers?

Re: Seat Covers
David,
They are a mom and pop operation with no website. At least that's what I've been told anyway. I'm going to use their covers when I have my buddy buckets recovered. I believe member "yellowblazer1969" carries their covers. Here is Chris' shop number (803)603-6199.

Re: Seat Covers
Hi David, I have covered several of my own sets with pui on the first couple and truck world on the last several.I personally like the truck world better. The high dollar seats you see at most shows have truck world covers. If you want to see some I have pics of several sets of Jerry Browns "the Truck Shop" they are very nice quality restored and his seats have truck world covers.I have a set of black with white houndstooth I have been working on and will have finished in the next day of so I will post you some pics.Jerry Brown and Tommy's Pickup parts both carry truck world covers.

Re: Seat Covers
Truck World makes the covers for PUI from what I understand. They aren`t exactly mom& pop.More like business to business, yet will sell to the public.Just not set up for it.
I saw CARS at Carlisle,or their truck roll by my spots. So,they are still around. BTW,I think I will let my covers go after all if you are still interested.I`ve thought more about it and I`m going with the bench.

Re: Seat Covers
I am in the market for bucket covers as well. I don't see any contact info for tommy's truck parts on their website.
