power steering help

I could have sworn i seen a manual to power steering write up for 67-72 trucks. My old man has a 67 he wants to convert and i am looking into all thats needed. I have tryed the search function and all i come up with is for 60-66 trucks.

If someone could help me out with a link or the info i would be very greatful. thanks

Re: power steering help

I know it can be done because my son did it one his swb '67, but I am not sure what all has to be done.

I know he used shims to get the power steering gear box to fit from a '70 I think and the power steering pump from the same truck.

I am not sure what he had to do to get the power steering gear box hooked up to the steering linkage though.
