Damb thiefs
Had my box stolen monday night, it was outside on some saw horses, had it soda blasted the night before and just finished removing the rest of the wood floor getting ready for primer, still depressed

Re: Damb thiefs
Yep, I'd be looking for scrappers not old truck guys. Scrap prices are in the stratosphere right now. They will steal anything that is metal and not bolted down.

Re: Damb thiefs
Stolen? In Salmon Arm? Sure you didn't just miss place it?
Just kidding, that sucks big time. Maybe report it to the RCMP, might be some shady characters around that they are aware of. Good luck locating it

Re: Damb thiefs
It's probably those miserable tweaker meth monkeys!!! They'd steal the metal from your teeth given half the chance.

Re: Damb thiefs
Might be time to visit the local scrap yard and see if it turns up. Put the word out. Scrappers are not supposed to knowingly receive stolen property. If you put them on notice, then they might not accept it or might call you up if they get it in. Good luck.

Re: Damb thiefs
have to agree with mclairmo, if you put the word out to the scrap yards in the area (or closest to you) it might make them more aware of anybody dropping off blasted, prepped, rustless pickup beds...
still can't belive they took the whole thing, you'd need at least 4 people to do that silently & quickly...

Re: Damb thiefs
thanks guys for your sympathy i dont think its going for scrap as im at a welding shop and there is a bunch of other stuff out side that would be worth more for scrap. i think someone stole it to use it. theres a few custom things on the the box that nobody would notice but me. so i have a feeling i might find it one day
thanks rob
