Re: intergal head?

I'd like some inter gal head . . . but regular head will suffice.

Re: intergal head?

I am old, so bear with me. The integral head sixes, had an exhaust manifold all to it's own. seems like there was a big opening just under the carb. I am thinking that they will not interchange with an older six intake/cyl head. I also remember that the intergal head sixes were notorious for cracking. Bad GM bad GM

Re: intergal head?

no they will not, the integral means just that the head intake and exhaust were all molded as one piece, and yes they tend to crack. so youd be better off trying to find a manifold pre 74 as i believe 75 was the first year for the integrated heads

Re: intergal head?

mine is cracked.I have a new, older style head setting here ready to go on. I don't have the manifolds yet. Was trying to save $ on buying & shipping the manifolds.

If there were any wrecking yards here, I would have been there. Live 200 miles east of Denver in farm country. It is a 250.
