Re: Craigslist find
I prefer the black one on the trailer more! This just doesn't do anything for me!

I liked it until i saw the dash! Poor craftsmanship for the 40-grand price tag in my opinion!! Joseph

I'm ok with everything except the rims and the interior. The rims can be changed, but I think the only way to fix the interior is with a can of gas and a match...

Re: Craigslist find
Very rare person indeed to put this thing together. A ton of work, but very unappealing!

Re: Craigslist find
I know you guys are probably gonna laugh at me, but this truck ain't that ugly. It's not too different than many of the trucks on here. Wheels, chopped top, shaved door handles. Yes, I agree, the dash is ugly as sin. And I don't like the tailgate. I can live with the front end. But other than that...I don't see what's the big deal. Trust me, we all have seen uglier.

Re: Craigslist find
You know what they say...beauty is in the eye of the beerholder!
How can someone spend the kind of time and money to build a truck like that and do a half*** job on finishing the dash! I mean seriously - look at the effort made to do the bodywork, engine compartment, and dash -- only to have missing hardware and ugly switches in the console/dash?!? Got to give the guy credit for alot of the work done -- and this could be a really awesome unique truck with some finish work (although I am not a fan of the wheels and tires), but judging from the photos I've seen nicer trucks for half as much! |

Re: Craigslist find
I'm surprised I haven't seen this one around here. This guy has two of everything. Always has a shoebox chevy or two for sale, has a 58 biscayne for sale, the black 55 p/u is for sale, etc, etc. All decent looking stuff but the fit and finish seems to always be a bit off.
As far as this truck goes, if it had different rims, I'd roll it. I'll have to keep my eyes open at the local shows, I'd like to get a better look.

Re: Craigslist find
I guess one of my problems is that I can't stand it when they put the gauges all in the center of the dash. WTF!!! Looks like CRAP! If you wanted a Mini, or a Prius, buy one of those, but for the love of god, don't move an already beautiful dash over to the center... looks like shat!

Re: Craigslist find
honestly i dont think it looks to bad.. i agrea that the interior needs a little tlc along with a few other suspension mods and yeah i hate the rim choice too but it isnt my truck.. the body mods LOOK like they were well done but im only going by the pics that the guy has up.. would i buy it YES but not for the price he is askin.. i would tell him to take the rims and tires off and ill give him 15-20k cause i wouldnt even put it on a trailer lookin like that.. it just looks to DONK when its raised up for me.. they look like 22 or 24 and anything over 19-20s is just over kill in my book..

I have seen the truck in mags and what not but she looks like she was short cut in some areas and I just hate those wheels..
