Truck on CL

Idk why im posting this, but i just saw this truck on craigslist and its awesome..

http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/1686768916.html

Im not saying its priced great or anything, because i dont have a clue about that stuff, but this is like the perfect truck imo... It has almost the exact color and stance i want. The rims arent great, but they not bad..

What is a truck like this worth? I mean is the listed price way high?

Damn that's a killer looking truck though for sure! Sounds a little bit steep that's for sure though.

Re: Truck on CL

For that price you should be able to eat off the engine bay, It wouldn't bring a 1/3 of that around here.

Re: Truck on CL

Good looking truck but I agree the price is high. Also, is it just me or does the "too much to list" irritate anyone else? I feel like if they can't take the time to list everything then I don't need to take the time to look at the ad.

Re: Truck on CL

Around here, that would be a normal starting price. I think it would sell here for over 5K. I do like it though, there's lot's of potential.

Re: Truck on CL

Well here That truck would only sell for maybe 3. Short beds are starting to become very rare in these neck of the woods. Very popular trucks rite now.

Re: Truck on CL

the guy can ask for whatever he wants, he knows whats done to it, hes dumb for not posting everything thats done to it.. but saying its only worth 3k... really? 3k will get you a pile of ancient dino crap. (imo).... only bad thing is its painted... so you dont know if theres body damage or just wanted it... one they dont make old trucks anymore so the guy can ask for whatever he wants. plus, who posts, or asks for their rock bottom price anyway? when i sell my cars... never would i post a car i need to sell for rock bottom price... too many low balling people out there that try to get you when your down on luck.
...for reference, im not trying to sell my truck, but if somone said.. i'd give you 8500 for it, i would take it.. if they said 5000, i would say i'd give you such and such parts.. and make them feel as small as i could make them feel.
anyway.. i never understood why theres these posts that support craigslist stuff... i still click them.. some good some bad.. just saying.

Too much to list.... yet the A/C is missing parts, disconnected and wide open. That alone makes me wonder what else might be hacked? Around here, just judging by the pics, it would probably bring $4000-$5000.

Re: Truck on CL

Well i wasn't posting this to support the CL ad, i was just wondering what a truck like this would cost if it was overall in good condition..

Thx for the responses though, appreciate it and really appreciate the insight on why its listed for too much.. tryin to get an idea of what to look at value wise on these trucks
