6" - 8" Lift Shock Specs

Trying to get an idea of what you guys are using for shocks and if anyone has measurements. After you lifted your trucks approx 6-8" what was the distance from mounting location to mounting location front and rear? Trying to get an idea of what shocks i'm going to be able to use. Looking at either the 5100 Bilsteins or 5150's. Thanks

Jack

btw...i'm referring to my 67 LWB GMC but imputs from your trucks help. Thanks again!

Re: 6" - 8" Lift Shock Specs

Good luck finding bilstien shocks they are back ordered.
The only place i could find 5150s in stock is on ebay. Top gunz customz has them on ebay. Best bet is 5125's just 5100s with eyelit mounts, in any length you need.

5150 part numbers
BF5 a195 h1 22.5=14.17
bf5 a187 h1 29-17
H1 pre-fix is for single shock valving.

good luck I just grabbed a set of kybs for the front.
I have a 4-5 inch kit.

interesting...i order bilsteins thru a site that stock them, they just don't advertise them for our year model trucks or chevy trucks at all for that matter. i'll take a look at those part numbers and see what i can come up with. Thanks for the good information man.
