i have always used the ones you used. I also have always had iron heads, and some sort of aftermarket aluminum intake. I have never had a problem.
I have used them on the following setups my old mans stock 350 in his 67 my 383 stroker in our 75 corvette my 454 with a blower in my 70gmc I dont think youll have a problem at all |

Like I said ealier from my observations the non-steel gasket is the preferred choice for aluminum intakes but please don't take my word on it do your own research here.
Hopefully I have at least raised some concerns here and am only trying to share the best method here for my fellow truckers. |
