Three on the Tree - shifter housing where and how
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there knew where to buy or has a shifter housing for a 1968 three on the tree. Mine sheered off where the coupling and housing tie in together. I have JB welded it and taced it in place as a temporary fix, but I know it will be a short time before it gives up the ghost again. My LMC catolog from a few years ago has it, but they do not carry it anymore. I would go to a junk yard, but I live in long island and there are no junk yards for 100 miles. Thanks for anyones help.

you haven't looked very good for a junk yard// the 50years i was in long island i didnt have much trouble finding them// start with the yellow pages
then every month theres a buch of swapmeets there to . a good place to find people with old parts and leads to old parts. all you need to do is get to them and start talking to people to learn of people that have stuff http://longislandcars.com/site/HOME.html http://events.longisland.com/events.php?Category=1 http://www.lisra.org/ the two long island streetrod shows are a MUST GO
