Thanks alot guys! Yeah I really miss working on this project. I can't wait to get back to it. When i do eventually get back on this i decided on how i want it to look. I thought about finding the perfect patina truck and doing a rat rod style truck. That way I can drive the crap out of it and not worry about the paint. I am still thinking though of powdercoating the frame and making the frame and suspension all nice just leave looking like a sleeper with some nice wheels.

On another note, I cant believe what a small world this is after all! I grew up in Napa Valley, spent all my rec time on Berryessa, and have been through Winters, Petaluma, Bodega and Clearlake more times than I can count. Used to spend a few weeks each year in Santa Maria, and we'd go out to Pismo too. And there was that girl in Arroyo Grande too........
Gonna have to keep my eyes open next time Im down for a HS reunion.

I am not sure if i want to blank it off like it did with the other setup or just add another gusset in the middle. Also i didn't add the inner support gusset on the inside of the bracket because i was going to have the shockwave mounts tie into the bracket to reinforce the bracket and give the shockwave a nice solid mounting piece. I built my jig with .120 tubing. If you brace the jig up proper you can pretty much build the whole truck on the jig. I am planning on building the truck on the frame that way when i run wires, fuel lines and so on it is easier on my back. Anyways good luck on your truck.

It really is a small world. I travel a fair amount for my work and i meet people all the time that either went to Cal Poly or grew up in the area. I just got done working in petaluma a few months ago. We erected a metal building for National gaurd in petaluma. Cool place. Yeah next time you come down hit me up! Regarding an eta on this project it will be a little while. Probably a year or so. I hate saying that but i now how life gets busy and i want to sell my other project before i start this again. I learned its hard to build your dream truck when you don't have the funds to do it.

Well it don't remember off the top of my head. I think though somewhere around 15degs is the norm. Anyways thanks for the complements!
