1980 K20, Smog pump?

Does anyone know for sure, or have a shop manual handy for lookup, that can tell me if a non CA K20 came with a smog pump and charcoal canister? I know they were excluded from having cats.

Just trying to prep myself before the dreaded trip to ADEQ.

Thanks.

not100% sure but im reasonably sure that they did by then. Look t see if the manifolds have the plugs in em for the air tubes also alot of people just left the mount there for the air pump or at the very least the pulley on the waterpump for it

Definitely had the canister, and most likely on the pump

Does the emission sticker on the core support say high altitude emissions? I know those for sure had smog pumps.

No sticker on the core support. Original engine was the I6, and now has a later 5.7. From the looks of the valve covers, I'd say it was early '90's.

Re: 1980 K20, Smog pump? (updated)

So, the Federal version 1980 K20/30 (non-California) does NOT have anything other than the standard PCV for those wondering. GM skirted the requirements one more year by upping the GCVW by 100 pounds to push them into a different requirement category. Not sure how many more years, if any, this continued.

77 was the last year for the half tons.

None the less, the K20 failed. PO put a new Edlebrock on it, and it needs some tuning TLC.
