Finally solved wiring problem...sort of..

I have tracked down what was causing my turn signal and front yellow lights to come on constantly....the STEERING column!! Anyone know why the steering column would be a problem? How do I go about solvingthis problem?

That's where the turn signal switch is. First, find the electrical connector (flat, got several wires on both sides) that connects the switch to the under-dash wiring. Wiggle it real good or unplug it & plug it back in a couple of times. This cleans the connections a little. If this helps, take it apart & clean with contact cleaner, then a little silicone spray, & reassemble. If not, you may have a problem with the turn signal switch (a short, or a loose wire, etc.) beneath the steering wheel. I had a Ventura that had one so bad I had to put a jumper across the connector.

I had similar probs last year and it was the turn signal switch. Now the lights are brighter than ever.
