The anodized is more like the oem I would imagine but if Bendix is cheaper and it doesn't matter to you then go with cheaper one imho,

Re: QUICK! Whats diff. between delco/bendix brake boosters?

For one the holes on the booster bracket are different centers. My 1/2 ton used the delco unit. The bendix booster wouldn't bolt on.

Re: QUICK! Whats diff. between delco/bendix brake boosters?

The bendix is painted black from the factory and delco was anodized. The your pics look to be the delco unit, bendix units are more smooth and each will have either delco-moraine stamped on the case or bendix stamped around the perimeter. The master cylinder for bendix units is typically a single bail unit and the delco type uses a dual bail type m/c and they will interchange with each other. They are the same thickness also, same operation different manufacturer, same brackets etc.

Re: QUICK! Whats diff. between delco/bendix brake boosters?

Rule of thumb, Bendix boosers were used '67-'70 on drum brake trucks, Delco-Moraine boosters were used '71-'72 on disc brake trucks. Usually, a 1/2 ton truck would use a single diaphragm booster, a 3/4 or 1 ton would use a dual diaphragm booster. That holds true for both Bendix and Delco-Moraine boosters. I would disagree that they are interchangeable. As John pointed out, the mounting studs are on different centers, and the length of the booster pushrod is different too. Using the wrong booster can result in no brakes, so be careful.
