Re: Looking for the impossible
Why not weld up the side marker light in the 68 fender that you already have and use it?

Re: Looking for the impossible
Pullapart in knoxville had a '67 last week- I know the hood was good- but can't remember about the fenders... I got the high hump out of it.

Re: Looking for the impossible
Just cut out a piece of steel the size of the hole and weld it in. Then grind 'er smooth.

Re: Looking for the impossible
This was supposed to be in reference to ewoody625's post
the 67 and 68 front end clips are exclusive to their respective years and do not interchange with the later years 69-72 BUT i am pretty sure the inner fenders are the same from 67-72

Re: Looking for the impossible
You can use 67-72 GMC fenders, they are the same as a 67-68 Chevy fender but of course only the 67 has no marker light.

Re: Looking for the impossible
This is actually a gmc fender, with marker light welded up. front and back side. you can just get a piece of sheet metal and make your own patch. good pair of tin snips, away you go. 25.00 can buy you a pretty big of sheet metal . Or just do like I do ,and cut a piece out of an old fender.

Re: Looking for the impossible
I have a pretty clean 67 fender that I would trade you straight up for the 68 but we would have to ship them back and forth

Re: Looking for the impossible
I knew the front ends were different i wasnt sure about in the inners, but my major problem is finding one i dont have to pay an arm and a leg for to ship. They are available new but it costs $125 plus to ship it. So anyone have one lol?

Re: Looking for the impossible
If you patch a side marker hole it takes more than just a piece of metal welded in if you don`t want about 1/4" of filler. It needs to be spaced to flush.
