wiper washer problems
my truck is an 81 c10 the windshield washer works when it wants to and most of the time only when the wipers are going i dont know what would cause this but if have any sug ill take them im almost ready to just hook up a switch

Pull the steering wheel and see if the wires are cracked or broken. If its a tilt?

Sounds like it might be wiring or maybe the switch.

My 81 has what you call a ghost operating mine, they will just come on when they want to, I don't even have to touch the switch. If that is what your is doing and you have the delay option with your wipers then it's your delay moduale, it is contected to the switch under the dash. It is a very common problem with this year.

Oops, I read that wrong, this problem can also be cause by the same moduale as it is conected to the same switch.

im leaning toward the switch myself im going to look at it tommarrow worst case i have to hook up a toggle switch thank for the help

so i looked at it today just seem to be the connecters were real caked with crap cleaned them up works fine so far well have to c if it stays
