More AC questions
Does the AC compressor run if the fan is on regardless of where the middle slider is set? I turn on my fan, and even if the slider isn't all the way over to the "AC" position, and my idle drops significantly.
I'm trying to figure out why. |

No, it shouldn't run when the top slider is to the right (this is the one that turns the compressor on/off). Watch and see if the clutch engages while someone turns it on in the cab.

I'll check that then. Can you think of any other reason my idle would drop when I turn on the fan? I can't imagine that drawing that many amps...
