A/C question

I am putting my a/c duct hoses back in right now, and I saw a center vent plug kit available. Is it a benefit or not to having only one hose go to the center vent instead of two. I would be nice to get rid of one of the hoses for the room under the dash, but is it worth it.

Re: A/C question

I went with the one hose setup when I redid mine. The air flow is somewhat stronger out the center vent with this setup. I wish I could find a vent that was easier to close off like the side vents - it comes out so strong.

Re: A/C question

I use the one hose set up in both of my trucks. Don't waste your money on the "kit" though, it is junk. Just get a couple rubber pipe caps from Home depot or Lowes for less than $5. Cap one end of the center vent, then cap the other end at the box where the hose came out of.

Re: A/C question

Does anyone know of a replacement for that center das vent so you can direct the airflow better? I've always wished I could point that flow at myself instead of it just coming straight out...
