WTB: Tailgate Trim Panel

I'm looking for the large trim piece that says CHEVROLET across it for the tailgate of a 72. I don't want a new one, just one in decent driver shape. No too concerned if the wood grain is old and faded. I want it to look like the rest of the old trim already on my truck. Shoot me a pic with what you've got and how much you want for it.

Re: WTB: Tailgate Trim Panel

Jim, we have a VERY nice Original GM with metal letters (even though is was GM some of their later ones came out with plastic letters) for $ 200. And we have a couple that are straight but worn with most of the wood grain faded off that we will take $35- $45 depending on the one you pick. If you are going to Pate you could pick it up there.
Hope that helps Paul and Jason

Re: WTB: Tailgate Trim Panel

I'd be more interested in one that is mostly faded because it would match the rest of the trim on my truck. Mine just has a big dent and is missing letters. Do you have any pictures and how much would it cost to ship? Don't know about Pate

Jim,

Can you post a picture of yours? I've got a couple but I'm not sure if they are any better than yours.

Jim,

This the best one I have. If you want it, just cover shipping and it's yours.

Just trying to "pay it forward" Paul. This board is full of great people and has been a great place to hang out. I look forward to meeting up with you in the near future.
