Anyone with a bagged step with tank relcation?
Just trying to find out where everyone is mounting everything. With the step, I cant really find a good place to mount a compressor or the air tank.
Im using a fuel cell (possibly blazer tank) and just dont have that space anymore. Im guessing the compressor can mount under the cab between the cab supports...but what about the air tank? |

Re: Anyone with a bagged step with tank relcation?
N2billet mounted a tank behind his seat in Hazel so I know a long thin 5-gal will fit there w/the tank relocated like yours. You could mount the comps to the frame under the cab & run the airlines up through the cab floor. Another option is to have a tank made for the front bed wall (something similar to an old moon fuel tank). You could even mount standard air tanks @ the front bed wall & pin-stripe them or detail them to work w/the 'theme' of the truck.

I am switching to bags. How much room is there in the far rear behind the tank and before the bumper. I dont have a bumper and brackets to mock it up. Anyone have pics of this location?
