Cab dolly
Hi, does anyone have any photos for a cab rack. I'm starting to work on my cab. But I need to move in and out of my shop from time to time. Thanks much, Tom.

No luck there. I've been away from here for some time. But I remember lots of members making them. Thing is I have a stone driveway so I think I'm going with some really heavy duty casters. But hey thanks for your suggestion.

Here is two pictures of my rack, if this is something that you would want more info on, pm me and I'll give you the measurements. I copied one of the board members years ago, but don't remember the link that had the info. Mine was somewhat cheap to make, I used 4 Harbor freight locking wheels, 4 x 1/4 inch lags and brackets from home depot. It fits the cab width wise perfectly and the rack is long enough to roll the cab onto it's back to undercoat and prep the bottom side, plus you end up with more storage area for crap to build up. It was nice to be able to clear my garage door barely and nothing had to be moved . I like that I can move it around in my garage and when I got a different cab than the one on it, I was able to pull the dolly out of the garage and up to the truck to off load it. It is large and strong enough to hold two cabs. If I would have used six wheels then it would have been even stronger to hold more weight, but I didn't find it necessary.

 sorry not the best picture, but we cut the frame infront and behinde the cab, and welled legs and casters to it. since we have a new frame.
