Moving gas Tank

I want to move my gas tank out of the cab in the most efficient and lowest cost. Does anyone have suggestions? I've considered a blazer/suburban tank and neck. I can't find any used to use. I've also thought about a side mount tank such as extra tank such as one in LMC 1973 and up catalog. We're about to pull my cab and do repairs to the floor so now is the time.

I appreciate any help or comments.

i gota blazer tank but had a wreck before I did the fiiller, its not hard to install the filler is the tricky part

The filler is one concern and I'm looking for the most cost efficient way to make it work. The blazer/Suburban tank is the cheapest so far besides the side tank. I am not real fond of the side tank for safety reasons. (if it sits outside the frame) The under floor tank the filler is where I am stumped. I've never done this before so I'm a novice.

probably cost wise id say a race fuel cell from summit, like 150 and then chop a hole in the floor for the filler bam few on heres done it they ought to show it

You can buy a poly blazer tank from lmc with mounting straps and sender IIRC.
As far as the filler, you can hide it behind the left side marker, in the bed floor, graft on a door to the bed side. I am putting mine behind the left taillamp like others have done before.

I've found the tanks. Classic Parts is a few dollars cheaper. The filler is what I am not sure about using that tank. I am unsure about what to use and where to put it. Do you have any pics of what you're doing? What neck are you using to get it to the bedside. The previous owner got rid of the side marker lights. I don't really want to put it in the bed floor as so many do on wooden bed floors. I'm a novice at this part of it. can you tell?

a cheap way is to measure the hole it's going to fit into then go to a swapmeet or junkyard with your dimensions and a tapemeasure

have seen gastanks for as little as $10 at swapmeets but none in a cataloges in that price range most were at least 10Xthat amt
