please pray for me

Here are some pics of my sons 1st project. Its a 71 3/4 ton 4wd. He is 14 and hopefully it will be completed by his 16th birthday! Thanks for all who contribute to this site, it has already been a godsend of information!

The main thing is that you are doing the truck with your son! the more time you spend together the better! its going to be a great project for you and, in my opinion a fantastic way to stay close to your teen aged son! have fun and best of luck to you and your son. What I wouldn't give to be able to another one with my Dad. Hopefully your son will keep the memories of these times forever. Goodluck and that will an great first truck.

Freakshow, I will tell ya to hang onto the lockouts and keep your cab if you can. Just some important advise. Don't throw out anything from it. Common mistake for a first project. Hope this helps, and good luck bud. Trevor

done and done, i am saving everything untill she rolls as a completed project, ive even purchased a 71 3/4 ton 2wd for spare parts, both trucks run and both were only 500$ apiece! thanks for the info.
