shout out for help

need some help ? i went to look at a 71 or 72 4x4 frame and i have two questions. first did chevy make a 3/4 ton front axle disc brake and open knucles with no lock outs it has a cast piece and not like 73 with the little metal end the whole thing is cast. number two do you think that a complete frame minus motor in need of sandblasting is worth 750.00 it is a 4 speed thanks for all your help mark

Let me take this to the top and see if some one more knowledgeable than me about it will chime in.

Yes, the larger hubs had the "bolt-on" style lock-out hubs (or drive flanges). The '73-'87 could have either style.
The value is very regional, I couldn't tell you.

Re: shout out for help

Is the frame a rolling chassis?
If it is, and there was a guarantee that it isn't bent. Then the asking price, to me anyways sounds good.
Axles alone would take up most of that price.
