2/4 coil drop

All I want to do is put drop coils on my 71, I was told by the vender I was going to buy them from with a 4 inch drop I have to notch the rear frame, Is this true? or can I just put the coils in and call it a day. Thanks... Mark

with Zoomin... currently running a 6" drop without a notch and haven't ran into a single use.

Good luck with the install!
