i got in on the group buy from Daveboyd from over in the vendors section. i would suggest checking into it if anybody else is looking for an underbed aluminum tank. called him up and we discussed a few altercations i wanted, but he didn't add anything to the group buy price. now i wait for ups man to bring it to me in a few weeks. couldn't ask for a better product, american made.

plus you wont find a better deal anywhere!

Just mounted mine today from Dave Boyd Welding , You'll like it. When I mounted mine I put it on the under side of the lower frame rail welded a nut on top of the lower frame rail, ran a bolt from under the lip of the fuel tank, This way its alot easier to remove if I need to do so.

what did you do for the vent? i'm running one of those flush mount cool caps, so i need a vent to put in the 3/8 npt on top of the tank. haven't had much luck finding one.

If your talking about one of Boyds Welding tanks, mine came with a vent nozel threads for a elbow and a loop of fuel line for the vent.

I went over to the vendors section and did not see Dave Boyd.
I am looking for an underbed tank.

There was a group buy in 2008 or 2009. I miss the link to the 2010 group buy anyway. Make the measurments will fit your truck, and let him know if you want EFI not also. I well pleased with mine.

Unfortunatly the group buy ended the end of April. I am pleased with the craftsmanship of my tank, although I have not mounted it yet. You can go to his website, I think it's boyd-welding.com his prices are pretty fair.

Yea, I wasn't paying attention to the group buy. I was looking for one back in April too. Well I guess, You snooze, you lose. LOL
