Re: My truck pics finally!!!

Yeah it's very solid! Only surface rust that comes right off and very little pitting where there is any. We've rebuilt the rear end, drum brakes, driveshaft and completed the back half of the frame. The whole rear (except the bed) is almost done when I get the wheels/tires because I'm doing an axle swap.

I like the Farm Bureau sticker. You should try to save that. Do you have buddy buckets in your truck?

yeah i'm definately going to try and save that! And right now, the seats are out of a later model dodge I'm pretty sure but my plans are to either do a bench seat or buddy buckets.

Thank you. I wish they wouldn't have primed those areas way back when...I wasn't planning on keeping the original paint and everything but that'd be awesome. And that's a sweet looking truck by the way. I saw your thread.

Also, one of those pics has a close up of one of the control arms....yep it's a bullet hole. Someone must've just been sitting in the back of the bed with their rifle and accidentally shot a round off! I think it's cool.

Looks like a good start for sure, David. Keep us posted on the progress.

The wife and I will be headed down to Spring the 10th of June. My oldest daughter lives there. I'm going to try and get together with BACKYARD88 (Mike & Missy) while we are there, maybe you and your family can join us. Last time we got together we went to Pufferbellies for a sandwich.
