Cleaning Intake?????

Whats the best way to clean aluminum intakes? Without taking it off? Its got gas stains on it (brownish). Next winter I will remove it and have it either powdercoated or polished.

i've found that Gum out works pretty good...followed by high pressure watter at the coin opp.

I just simply sandblasted my Weiand intake, I also hand polished it too later on, but if you are going to get it powdercoater later on, I would just try some high pressure water like longhorn said.

Mag wheel cleaner and a little wire brush works the best. I think it could take off paint so be careful. Not the California customs, just get some Eagle mag wheel cleaner for Aluminum wheels.
