Cool Old Blue 84 Chevy longbed first truck! HELP!

hey guys im new on these forums and ive seen a lot of helpful tips and explanations on some things in wanna do. but its hard to get a job down in texas right now and its gunna have to do like it is.
its a 84 singlecab silverado c10 long bed with a 350 that has long tube headers true dual glasspacks dumped at the rear axle.. i had a 98 camaro v6 that needed a new tranny and new lifters and i traded straight up =P

im at school right now or i'd post some pics but heres what i plan to do:

i plan on getting it lifted 3-4 inches with 33s
it needs carb replaced because it has a hard time running when first started
paint job
new 6x9s and a new head unit.
new speedo (old one is broken)
new seat or seat cover
just misc little things.

I need some guidence on these things and maybe some help with the obtaining the little things?

if anybody has some spare parts laying around and wants to help a newbie out lemme know

my number is 682 583 5264 i live in dallas texas and the names jordan

Alternator goes on the right side top, A/C comp. on the left side top, P/S pump sits right under the A/C comp. Heres some pics of my 85 C 10. If this doesnt help take pics of each bracket & ill tell you where they go

Re: Old Blue 84 Chevy longbed first truck! HELP!

got the new water pump on but the intake manifold wont fit...the middle bolts wont line up right...like the block holes are drilled for the manifold bolts to go vertical and the manifold is made for them to come at an angle...so it wont line up right and i have to either go with a 2BBL carb or go buy a whole new intake..CRAP

Re: Old Blue 84 Chevy longbed first truck! HELP!

Sounds like you have TBI heads not Vortec heads. Vortec have only 4 bolts on each side & all are vertical. The TBI heads have the four center ones at a more vertical position than the the older heads. heres some intakes
