heavy duty ft sway bar & brackets off of a 73 3/4 chevy f/s


but will also fit the 1/2 trucks it's in good shape but i would replace the bushings while it's off they cost about 25 to $30. i will take $80.00 shipped for it .please reply in tread if interested .

i am not sure you may check with someone else that has did the same thing to there truck . and see if they are useing a stock swaybar.

billsbowtie, is that an 1 1/4 sway bar? just trying to see how much exactly what the bushings would cost me. if so ill take it zip 37184, just pm me later and we will work out the details.

1 got 1 1/4 bushings from o reillies so theyre pretty readily available, I asked for a 78 chevy 3/4 ton 2wd. but the 3/4 tons came with 1 1/16th, 1 1/8 and 1 1/4 so measure carefully oh and mine fit well.

skeeterbug i just notice i put the wrong year in the title it came off of a 72 3/4 ton it will still fit but i just wanted to let you know. i will measure it and pm you in a few mins. bill

Skeeter, at one time i read about people not using the frame bracket, and mounting the bushing directly to the frame, thus taking like 2-3 inches out of the measurement on extremely dropped trucks, just a headsup on making it bolt up to a lowered truck.

walts, yeah ive heard of people doing that as well and since my truck has 5" of static drop in the front thats what i figured i will have to do.
