What mirrors are these?
These mirrors were on my truck when I bought it from the previous owner, and I cannot seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know what these are and where they came from so I can get some that look decent again(and don't have broken mirror glass)?
I was experimenting with painting the arms of them the body color of my truck but are way too pitted for this. I don't want to have to redrill my freshly painted doors for more standard issue mirrors and bondo the holes where the are currently placed on the door - ugh Last edited by Beatcoaster; 05-12-2010 at 01:14 AM. |

Re: What mirrors are these?
These aren't for the 69ish camaro/chevelle/el camino, I already bought those and then sold them for a loss on craigslist after realizing they don't come up high enough on the passenger side for viewing - which was a bummer cause they looked slick.
I think vasquez is right on the money, after some searching it looks like they are from a 65-66 fullsize chevy - best price I can find for repops is about $100 on ebay - ack!! |

Re: What mirrors are these?
The longer ones are `60s full-size Chevy.I think Malibu/Chevelle and ChevyII/Nova,too.Camaros were just shorter.I think after 66-67-ish they got shorter, too, because of the body change. You`re safe going for fullsize pre-67.I really like them.

Re: What mirrors are these?
They look like 60s after market to me. I've never seen GM put a logo on a mirror.

Re: What mirrors are these?
Just ordered a new set from Classic Industries, even sanding and painting the arms of the old ones I am still getting some bubbles from the pitting. I will try to remember to post some pics when they come in...
