teaser pics

i took these right before the interior and inside the doors got painted. hoping to trailer it home completly painted a week from monday(fingers crossed)

how long should you let a base/coat paint job sit before it gets buffed? will it depend on the type of paint?

don't count on taking it home any time soon. just from experience my truck was in the paintshop for 3 months and they told me it would be done in 2 weeks

our camaro has been in the paintshop for 6 months going on seven was supposed to be out in a month went last week and the bodyworks finished and its primedbest thing almost no bondo no cracking paint from shoddy bodywork either.

wish ya luck though looks like it'll be a sweet truck...

current project
67 402BB stout th350 3.08's with a locker. Plan on tubs 18.5's out back! (thanks Burnsman!)



71 SWB Stepside, was a 250, now is a 402 Big Block with 4 speed and 3.73's ( was crushed by a tree, bed sold, motor pulled) was my first truck!... oh well...

72 LWB 4x4 350 4-speed 3.08's posi wearing army olive drab green (SOLD!)

68 BURB 50TH LOOKALIKE work in progress, soon to have 250-I6 with a 3-speed on the tree 4.11's and posi ( currently sitting in back yard tarped awaiting time, $$$, and lots of love!)

67 1 TON- work truck 396 sm 420 4-speed, flat bed 4.57 gears "big red" (my first landscape truck, very rusty and crusty! but still gets the job done when needed!)

ya i was told 2-3 weeks when i brought it in and its a couple months later. but my dad went down there and had a talk with the guy and know he said hell have it done for this sun.
71402BB - it will be at carlisle even if i have to drive it as is. who needs windshields anyways

and something never to say is "its ok to take a few more days to make sure its right" thats just telling them that your not their first priority and they'll hold you truck off.
