1966 Stock C-10 Shifter Boot
Can some one post their pic of a stock 1966 4 speed on the floor C-10 shifter boot? My truck was all original but the stock 4-speed on the floor (large hump) shifter boot was torn, and I need a replacement. Pics in catalogues show a round boot and mine is rectangular/square with 4 holes only. Is it not reproduced?

Re: 1966 Stock C-10 Shifter Boot
I have seen some pretty hideous examples of factory 4-speed floor shifter boots, being sold, however, I have never seen one that is close to the factory-correct, orginal floor shifter boot. I do know the boots being sold by Classic Parts & LMC Truck are not correct...ask me how I know!
It appears the shifter boot shown in the above photo is the best example I have seen. P.S. - duallyjams, thanks for the vine! Last edited by LILRED66; 05-12-2010 at 01:10 AM. |

1958-66 Chevrolet Light Truck Parts Book......No picture
My parts book ends in 66. Does anyone have a later parts book to see if it continues 67 up? MT1972cheyenne wrote that his part book listed this number for 61-72 "forward control". These also share reverse lights

Re: 1966 Stock C-10 Shifter Boot
Interesting some Russian shipping company lists the shifter boot for a Hummer with the same part number 2358354 produced by general Motors..
