I have been a big fan of this site for the last 5 yrs. I have learned alot from everyone here. And I have gotten alot of inspiration from other peoples projects and finished burbs and trucks. I have a couple pictures of what my looked like last year.

I'm not a fan of the wheels or flames, but it looks great otherwise.

What's under the hood and inside?

Re: 71 burb finally finished

I need to get some current photos. Since these pics, I have had some custom pinstriping on the front a rear of the the burb along with pinstriping the flames. Lowered front with 2" drop spindles and 2 inch drop coils. Back was lowered with 4 inch drop coils and 2 lowering block. If I didn't have 20" rims it would really set low. But it has just about the right height for me now. Considered air-bags just didn't want to cut it up for the clearance needed to really layout. I just recently finished up the motor. Had a 327 with double hump. I know old school old technology.I lioke to call this my old skool ride with a twist (of lime). But she runs great just the way it is. When I originally got this burb. It was rough. I was going to flat black it and paint lime green flames all the way around it. Wife and body guy said h#@! no. But I did still go with black and lime green just a little more traditional looking.

Thanks, I guess i shouldn't have said finished. Because they are probably never done. This is one of the most completed projects I have ever done. Everything just came together. I have had others in the past I fought the whole way. This has truely been fun.
