ece front drop spindles, springs cut.

I installed the ece front drop spindles and springs. I still want to go down about 2 inches or so in the front. How much can I cut of the front spring without just killing the ride quality? thanks

Usually anywhere between a half of one coil to one full coil is good. Some guys cut 1.5 coils off, but I would start with a half and see how you like it.

I cut one full coil out of mine and I got about 2.5"-3" of drop and the spring still stays in place when jacked up. Like I said though, there is guys that have done the 1.5 coils but just to be safe, I would start with either a half or one full coil, then see where it puts you.

Its always easy to cut more if you aren't happy, but if you cut too much you are hosed

no, I ordered the 4 inch drop in the front. 2.5 drop spindles. I didnt measure but I noticed they are shorter than the stock ones. I assume they are 1.5 inch shorter to make 4 inches with the spindles. I knew people were cutting up to 1.5 coils on stock springs but I wasnt for sure about drop springs
