Its 2WD long-bed, with a 454 engine, and 3 speed tranny. the truck has desert tires, on a 8 blot new Chevy wheels.

Hope you like the picture.

That's a very interesting pic - neat effect.

Whats the story behind the IL - Saudi Arabia connection?

Re: A 70 truck from Saudi Arabia..

Welcome to the board and welcome to the States from another '70 model long step side owner. I like those wheels. My Dad has them on his 2000 Chevy truck. Thumbs up on the 454 too.

What city was your picture taken in? I enjoyed a week of business at King Faud University in Dammam two years ago.

If so show some pics of the spid, and of things that are different about the Truck.

Re: A 70 truck from Saudi Arabia..

I believe that`s a regular old C/20 longbed. It`s just the angle that makes it look short.
A friend worked over there a good while back and said there were all kinds of rustfree GM Truck bodies in junkyards there.I here you can get sand blasting done for free.

Thanks for the comment.

Further, the relationship between IL and Saudi, is that I had my degree from SIUC which is located in Carbondale, IL.

It's a long-bed step-side, which are more popular over here than short bed trucks..

Thats 100% true, especially in the middle of Saudi, where their is not humidity, I will post some pics of junk yards that had some trucks from a very long time, but still look like new with not rust!
