Re: suspension lift

Off the shelf? Probably not. The rear springs aren't the issue as GM used the same length springs on the rears up thru late 80's or so. However, the front length is unique to 67-72. Your best bet is to have some made by Alcan or Deaver. Expect to pay some $$$ though.

Keep in mind that it's not just adding taller springs. Brake lines and driveshafts will need to be lengthened. At those heights you'll also need to either add spring shims or move the perches to correct the huge pinion angle you'll have. You're steering geometry also changes considerably...drop pitman arms and draglinks, raised steering arms will be needed... This is by no means comprehensive, but you get the idea.

Re: suspension lift

I agree with AJ 100% Custom springs would be the way to go. Even if you found something bigger on the shelf the ride quality would most likely be horrendous. One of the custom springs he mentioned would give you the best springs possible especially at that height.

Yep true that x2 Couldn't have said it better myself. You could also put on a body lift if your not against them to get a bigger lift on there just a thought. Cause if you get springs made up like stated above your gonna pay a ton for em!
